Chief Executive Officer
As CEO, Mark Liffmann leads Omnidian with a strong vision for the future of performance asset management for residential markets. He firmly believes that the performance risk of the system has been placed in the wrong place, with that risk today falling on lessors, lenders, investors or homeowners. Regardless of where, they all have their challenges in making sure the solar system performs optimally. He launched Omnidian to solve that problem.
Before founding Omnidian, Mark amassed over 15 years of experience in solar and clean tech. He was most recently VP of Sales, Marketing and Business Development at Clean Power Research where as a vendor to the solar industry he had seen many of the challenges in residential solar and the lack of choices available to lessors, lenders and consumers for asset management. Previous to Clean Power Research, Mark co-founded SunPower’s residential and light commercial business unit and built a multi-hundred million dollar world-wide business which became one of SunPower’s largest business units. Prior to SunPower, Mark was the Chief Operating Officer at the largest solar distributor in the U.S.
Prior to his solar and cleantech career, Mark was a corporate attorney with Gunderson Dettmer.
Mark holds an MS in Economics and a JD in Law from Harvard University and BS in Physics and BA in Public Policy from Stanford University.
