People often assume that because of my small stature and feminine style that I’m demure, but I’m secretly a rebel who wants to push boundaries, take on new challenges, and leave behind an extraordinary legacy. I try to live out integrity and knowledge as my key values, trusting that these two can help me become a better, well-rounded person and an open-minded, life-long learner. I know communication can solve many of the world’s problems, and that love has to and will conquer hate.

WHAT MATTERS MOST

My husband, our son, our dogs, and the life/business we’re building together is what makes me get out of bed in the morning. My marketing career is an added blessing! I’m also stoked when I get to work on my prickly pear orchard, talk religion/philosophy, have fancy cocktails with friends, visit new places, experience nature, consume enjoyable media, and dress like I’m from the 1940’s or ’50s.

I have a decade of experience leading product development for eight startups across multiple sectors, including civic tech, human rights, health tech and clean tech. Over the past 15 years I have also founded and managed my own startup as well as a launched a local economic development organization. My work in corporate sustainability primarily focused on energy, waste and water management as well as stakeholder engagement. I have been an adjunct professor and instructor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Rochester Institute of Technology and University of Alabama, and have an MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School and an MFA in Imaging Arts & Sciences from Rochester Institute of Technology.

She is a dedicated and resourceful management professional with expertise in coordinating, planning, and executing client needs within scheduled deadlines. After joining the Omnidian team as a Portfolio Operations Manager, she flourished along with the growth of the commercial side of the company and quickly became the Manager of Commercial Operations. She possesses leadership and communication skills to effectively deliver training for the teams ongoing professional development. Jessica currently leads a growing team of Portfolio Operations Managers who are directly tied to the success of the commercial client experience. She prides herself on facilitating a fun and lighthearted work environment and in her free time enjoys traveling and outdoor activities.

Before coming to Omnidian, Dana spent 5 years working in higher education. She is passionate about helping individuals 1-1 while simultaneously solving systemic problems. During her tenure at Omnidian, Dana has spearheaded the Proactive, Technical, and Customer support teams. She oversees internal and external alert notifications for Omnidian’s entire residential fleet and provides technical expertise for the Customer Support Team. Before joining Omnidian, Nuala began her solar journey at SunPower where she was the Vice President of Customer Care, leading teams in Customer Service and Technical Support. Prior to that she lead teams at Wayfair and Amazon, where she spent 7 years, most recently as the Customer Service Director for Amazon Web Services. Nuala graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Kempten, Germany with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and International Marketing.

Michael has been a leader in the energy sector since 2006 and in solar fleet and portfolio management since 2013. Prior to joining Omnidian as Director of Relationship Management, he held leadership positions at Cadmus Energy Services Group and Vela Environmental. Running Spruce’s Field Operations Department, he oversaw the performance of 30,000-plus residential and commercial solar assets, decreased cost of service by 20% and helped secure more than $125 million in new project financing. He holds a BS in Environmental Science from Western Washington University as well as an MBA and MA in International Environmental Policy from Middlebury.

Tarunya is the Vice President of Product at Omnidian where she supports a talented and passionate team across Product, Program, and Product Marketing Management. She is inspired by Omnidian’s mission to protect and accelerate investments in clean energy, with a commitment to deliver an excellent client experience. 

With over 15 years of product leadership experience at Meta and several growth-stage startups, Tarunya brings a wealth of expertise in scaling products and teams. At Meta, she led the product team for Community Creators serving over 800 million users and previously founded Messenger Kids, Meta’s first successful 0 → 1 standalone app, taking it from idea to 2+ million active users. Prior roles include building one of the first education technology platforms, Edmodo, from less than a million to nearly 100 million users worldwide.

Tarunya holds an MBA from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science from Dartmouth College. She lives in San Francisco with her family.

David Kenny

A Stanford University alumni with a MS & BS in Mechanical Engineering, David has a deep background in solar operations, including building and running the nation’s second largest residential fleet. Before co-founding Omnidian, Dave was Senior Director at SunRun, managing and leading the second largest leased residential fleet in the world — including field operations, quality assurance, systems performance and field service network. He has over 12 years of solar and clean tech experience at Sunrun, Metrus Energy and MMA Renewable Ventures. Now, David is the visionary behind our proprietary analytical platform. His vision for our proprietary technology garnered the attention and support of the Department of Energy, resulting in a significant grant supporting the “accelerated development of highly impactful solar technologies.”

With over 24 years of executive leadership experience and a track record for identifying and forging strategic alliances, he most recently served as Managing Director of Advisory in Financial Services for KPMG. He previously served as a senior executive with Washington Mutual Bank’s Commercial Division — where he launched a $2 billion business line, as Head of Product for Bank of the West, and as SVP with financial services provider, Account Now. In the solar industry, he transformed the global customer acquisition strategies for SunPower. Ray holds an MBA in Corporate Strategy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and an undergraduate degree in Business Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University.

Julie Kazanjian (she/her)

WHO AM I REALLY?:

I am a lifelong learner who brings passion and dedication to all of my (too many) pursuits. I have over 20 years of experience in all aspects of product, marketing, and sales strategy and operations. Before joining Omnidian, I spent 15 years at a rapidly scaling design and manufacturing company in the building products industry. Helping organizations to scale effectively and grow successfully is one of my superpowers. I always want to be where I can make the biggest impact, which is why I love being at the hub of activity in the Product team.

WHAT MATTERS MOST TO ME:

Living a balanced life filled with family, friends, the outdoors, creative pursuits, and giving back — extra points for combining as many of these together as possible! And above all, the health of our planet. I am grateful to have the opportunity to combat climate change by accelerating the adoption of renewable energy at Omnidian, and as an avid paddle boarder, I am passionate about protecting and restoring our oceans.

Anna leads Omnidian’s Commercial Operations and Performance Engineering teams. Prior to Omnidian, Anna spent a decade managing O&M and Asset Management for a leading US Developer and asset owner of Distributed Generation projects servicing many Fortune 500 clients. Anna is passionate to pair technology with an expert team of operations specialists to effectively assure System Performance.

WHO AM I REALLY?:

I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Psychology and a love for science! Being able to live in an area with such a rich background in research and scientific development is something I am very grateful for. I really enjoy being able to explore all of the wonderful sites and fun adventures that Washington has to offer with my friends and family. I also try to dedicate at least a little bit of time every day for some of my favorite hobbies like reading, watching movies, and discovering new activities around the Seattle area!

Yoseff Tucker

Before serving as Omnidian’s Head of Ops, Yoseff led SolarCity’s Diagnostics Department and cofounded the Operations and Maintenance Department. He oversaw monitoring operations for 370,000-plus residential and commercial energy assets, acted as point on investor relations and due diligence surrounding asset performance, and managed a committee that improved SolarCity’s energy forecasting tools. Yoseff also worked as an electrician, installing grid-tied and off-grid solar power systems, and spent time as a systems administrator for an Internet service provider.

Her primary focus is in advancing strategic human resources initiatives consistent with the organization’s mission and values. She is a fierce advocate for both individual and company success and is passionate about creating an environment that maximizes on employees’ strengths, inspires hard work and celebrates success. Part of her winning leadership strategy involves championing a diverse and inclusive organizational culture, where employees can be themselves.

Many folks find it surprising that I am quite introverted, but is is my superpower:) I really enjoy hosting dinner parties, collaging, swimming and going for long walks. Creating the time to use my brain in many different ways is a goal of mine this year.
