Omnidian, Inc. (“Omnidian,” “we,” or “us”) has developed and implemented this policy to demonstrate its commitment to privacy. This Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use, share, and safeguard personal information and to assist you in making informed decisions about how to engage with us.
To Whom This Privacy Policy Applies
This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding to personal information collected about the following types of individuals.
- PV System Owners: Owners of solar Photovoltaic Systems (“PV Systems”) with whom we have a relationship, including commercial owners and developers, portfolio investors, and residential homeowners.
- Website, Portal, and Social Media Page Visitors: Visitors to our website (Omnidian.com), any of the Omnidian portals (where a link to this Privacy Policy is found), and our social media pages.
- Omnidian Services Partners. As part of our PV Systems services, we gather data from and about various third parties, including.
- Dealers and Installers: Sellers and Installers of PV Systems with whom we have a business relationship.
- System Monitoring Providers: PV Systems monitoring providers from whom we gather data pertaining to PV Systems.
- Field Service Providers: Service providers and technicians with whom we have a relationship to provide installation, repair, and maintenance services of PV Systems.
- Business Contacts. Individuals with whom we interact as part of our business operations, including individuals associated with representing Business Operations Services Providers (defined below).

How We Define Personal Information
Personal information (sometimes called “personal data”) is a broadly defined term whose legal definition varies across jurisdictions. When used in this Policy, personal information includes information that is reasonably capable of identifying a particular individual (including through a device (like a web browser or PV System) either alone or when combined with information from other sources.
Personal information does not include information that cannot reasonably be used to infer information about or otherwise be linked to a particular individual or household. We may use personal information to create deidentified or aggregated consumer information that we may use without restriction in accordance with applicable law.
How We Collect, Use, and Disclose Personal Information
We collect, use, and disclose personal information in a manner consistent with the Services we provide. For example, if you are a residential homeowner of a PV System, we will collect your address and location of your PV System to provide our services, and we may disclose your contact information, address, and other information to Omnidian Service Providers in order to facilitate the services you request. Omnidian Services Partners are not service providers to Omnidian but are independent businesses with whom Omnidian partners to provide services. Each Omnidian Services Partner has their own personal information collection and use practices. To learn more about those practices, you should review the privacy policy of the Omnidian Service Partner and/or email them directly to find out more information. Omnidian is not responsible for the personal information processing activities of Omnidian Services Partners.
The personal information we collect depends on the nature and context of your interaction with Omnidian. It may also depend on various choices you make about how to use the services we offer, the functionality and features you choose or enable on our website or portals, your location, the devices you use to interact with our services, and applicable law. To make it easier to read and understand our policy, we have presented the relevant information in a chart explaining our collection, use, and disclosure practices for each category of individual with whom we regularly interact.

Business Operations Services Providers: When we refer to Business Operations Services Providers, we mean those persons or entities with whom we have a relationship to provide business operations services and support to Omnidian. These providers may include:
- IT Operations Providers: Cloud computing service providers, internet service providers, data backup and security providers, functionality and infrastructure providers, and similar service providers.

- Website Providers. Including hosting providers, performance monitoring providers, user account registration and authentication providers, testing providers, analytics providers, chat feature and user commenting providers, content optimization providers, social media sharing plugin providers, and similar providers.
- Marketing and Advertising Providers. Including advertising, direct marketing, and lead generation providers, affiliate marketing program providers, retargeting platforms, data brokers, ad networks, marketing consultants, and similar services providers.
- Professional Service Providers. Including lawyers, accountants, consultants, security professionals, and other similar parties when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with our legal and contractual obligations, prevent or respond to fraud or abuse, defend ourselves against attacks, or protect the rights, property, and safety of us, our customers, and the public.
Additional Disclosures
We may also disclose any personal information to the following:
- With our affiliates, subsidiaries, joint venturers, or other companies that we control or that are under common control with us, including, Omnidian Home Protection Company of California, Inc. and Omnidian Australia Pty Ltd, both of which are 100% owned by Omnidian, Inc.
- Legally Required Parties. Persons involved in the consideration, negotiation, completion of a business transaction, including the sale, merger, consolidation, acquisition, change in control, transfer of substantial assets, bankruptcy, or reorganization, and any subsequent integration.
- Authorized Disclosures: To any party when authorized by the individual to whom it pertains to share it.
Retention of Personal Information
We will retain personal information only for so long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider: (i)the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information; (ii) the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information; (iii) the purposes for which we process your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means; and (iv) the applicable legal requirements. Additionally, we may anonymize your personal information (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes, in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.
